At NHC, our chiropractic care is not limited to the table. We take an interdisciplinary approach, partnering with our team of clinicians and therapists to create tailored programs that include physical therapy, acupuncture, nutrition counseling, and exercise, depending on your needs.
We are also pleased to offer free massage therapy to our chiropractic patients, not because we have to, but because we consider massage therapy a vital part of healing. And our patients love every minute of it.

Chiropractic Neurology
Chiropractic neurology is a field of functional neurology that engages the internal and external environments of the individual in a structured and targeted approach to achieve positive changes in the nervous system and consequent physiology and behavior.
Our chiropractic neurologist specializes in the treatment of a variety of conditions utilizing integrative neurologic rehabilitative treatments without drugs or surgery. These conditions include vertigo, dizziness, balance problems, and other disorders of imbalance; movement disorders, including dystonia or Parkinson's; concussion and mild traumatic brain injury; visual disturbances and eye fatigue; memory and concentration difficulty; reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD); post-stroke rehabilitation; ADD/ADHD and learning disorders; anxiety; scoliosis; peripheral nerve injuries/ neuropathies/radiculopathies; and other neurologically based conditions.
Kinesio Taping Technique
Kinesio Taping is a technique based on your body’s own natural healing process that gives support and stability to your joints and muscles without affecting circulation and range of motion. The Kinesio Taping method is applied over muscles to reduce pain and inflammation; relax overused, tired muscles; and support muscles in movement. Kinesio Taping is used for anything from neck pain to foot problems and everything in between. Examples include: muscular facilitation or inhibition in pediatric patients; carpal tunnel syndrome; lower back strain/pain; knee conditions; shoulder conditions; hamstring strains; groin injury; rotator cuff injury; whiplash; tennis elbow; plantar fasciitis; patellar tracking problems; pre- and post-surgical edema; ankle sprains; and athletic preventative injury method. It is nonrestrictive, thus allowing full range of motion.
Chiropractic Maternity
During pregnancy, there are several physiological and endocrinological changes that occur to create an optimal environment for the baby to develop. Our physicians specialize in establishing pelvic balance and alignment to support the mother’s ability to have a natural, non-invasive birth by getting the baby into the best possible position for delivery. Potential benefits of chiropractic care during pregnancy include: maintaining a healthier pregnancy; controlling symptoms of nausea; reducing the time of labor and delivery; relieving back, neck, or joint pain; and preventing a potential cesarean delivery.
Myofascial Release Technique
Myofascial release is a soft-tissue treatment aimed at breaking up myofascial adhesions (scar tissue). Myofascial release is not the same as getting a massage. There are very specific protocols aimed at maximizing the effectiveness of this treatment for any muscle in the body. We are experts at locating the problem areas where adhesions have formed and treating those adhesions.
Cox Flexion Distraction Therapy
Our chiropractic physicians have expertise in utilizing cox flexion distraction therapy, which has been proven successful in cases of degenerative disc disease or disc injury of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. The cox flexion distraction protocol is intended to maintain a low intradiscal pressure for a long enough period (usually three months) to allow adequate healing. For patients with other conditions causing back pain (facet syndrome, spondylolisthesis, sprain/strain, scoliosis, transitional vertebra, sacroiliac restrictions and misalignment, and certain types of spinal stenosis), cox flexion distraction provides the ability to place the spinal joints into normal, painless movements so as to restore spinal motion without pain.
