Dr. Claudia Tamas, DPT Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Claudia Tamas was born and raised in Romania, where she worked as an elementary school teacher for two years prior to coming to the United States. Tamas continued her education in the United States, graduating cum laude from Kean University with a B.A. in psychology in 2010. During her undergraduate studies, Tamas worked as a physical therapy aide in several orthopedic and pediatric settings.
In 2014, she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, graduating with Alpha Eta honors from Seton Hall University. She also received the Award for Excellence in Research. Tamas’ clinical training includes pediatric rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation for conditions such as acute and chronic stroke, vestibular conditions, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic rehabilitation. Tamas is a Strength and Conditioning Specialist certified by The National Strength and Conditioning Association.
