Dr. Kurt Hostnik Clinical Director, Chiropractic Neurologist

Dr. Kurt Hostnik is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (ACNB), which is recognized by the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) as “the sole authority for examination/credentialing in the specialty of neurology in the Chiropractic Profession.” With this board certification, Dr. Hostnik has distinguished himself as a chiropractic neurologist experienced in the successful treatment of a variety of conditions utilizing functional neurology.
These conditions include: vertigo, dizziness, balance problems, and other disorders of imbalance; movement disorders, including dystonia or Parkinson's; concussion and mild traumatic brain injury; visual disturbances and eye fatigue; memory and concentration difficulty; reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD); post-stroke rehabilitation; ADD/ADHD and learning disorders; anxiety; scoliosis; peripheral nerve injuries/ neuropathies/radiculopathies; and other neurologically based conditions.
Dr. Hostnik graduated first in his class from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Ill., where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in April 2010. During his internship, he worked directly with Division I athletes at Northwestern and DePaul universities. Dr. Hostnik also received special training in functional neurology, functional rehabilitation, active myofascial release, Graston technique, and kinesio taping. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Vermont, where he played club soccer and was an avid snowboarder.
Dr. Hostnik spends the majority of his free time with his son, Harrison, and daughter, Emilia.
